Welcome
Welcome to the St. Louis Friends Meeting
We gather for Meeting for Worship every First Day (Sunday) at 10:00am at 1001 Park Avenue in St. Louis, MO. Whether you are new to silent worship or have long traveled a spiritual path, you are warmly invited to join us in reflection and community. All are welcome!
The St. Louis Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends is the formal name of our local congregation of Friends, commonly known as Quakers. Quakers are a spiritual community rooted in the belief that there is something of the Divine in everyone. Our worship is centered in silence, where we come together to listen inwardly for the Light, opening ourselves to spiritual guidance, insight, and connection. Out of this silence, anyone who feels led by the Spirit may rise to speak.
As Friends, we seek to live our faith through the testimonies that shape our tradition: The Peace Testimony, The Testimony of Equality, The Testimony of Integrity, and The Testimony of Simplicity. These guiding principles call us to act with compassion, to honor the inherent worth of every person, to speak and live truthfully, and to lead lives free of unnecessary distraction—remaining attentive to what truly matters.
St. Louis Friends Meeting is part of a wider network of Quaker communities. We are connected with The Blue River Quarterly Meeting, Illinois Yearly Meeting, and Friends General Conference, joining with other Friends for fellowship, discernment, and shared witness
Meeting for Worship and all other Friends activities are currently being held in a combination of virtual and in-person settings. We have a variety of meeting options. Further information is available through our online announcements and on our Facebook page.
